Niacinamide is one of Vitamin B3 forms. It is also called nicotinamide. The other form of Vitamin B3 is called niacin (nicotinic acid). Niacinamide is the amide of nicotinic acid. Niacinamide and Niacin are identical in their vitamin functions. But Niacinamide does not cause flushing, itching, and burning sensations of the skin. It is also used in skin care formulations. Niacinamide occurs in trace amounts mainly in meat, fish, nuts, and mushrooms, as well as to a lesser extent in some vegetables.

Characteristic: White crystalline powder; mixability taste; slightly soluble in water.

Use Suggestion: As a pure ingredient to be used for food additive, drinks, smoothie, shake, and for formulation, skin care products, R&D (research and development), or any other proper purposes. General use amount for an adult is a lower level 1/8 teaspoon powder (500 milligrams) daily for supplement purpose. Or do your own research for use amount of your own purpose. An electronic milligram scale is needed for an accurate dose measure.
